Colonial Stock Transfer Company is Celebrating 25 Years of Service
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, February 6, 2012: This year Colonial Stock Transfer Company, a full service registrar and stock transfer agent, is celebrating its 25th anniversary. On the eve of this occasion, the company is offering promotional pricing for those who engage Colonial Stock Transfer as their agent in 2012. The firm maintains and complies with the SEC and the new IRS Cost Basis rules that were released on January 1, 2011. They are also a DTCC FAST and DRS agent participant and are active members of the Securities Transfer Association (STA).
Currently, Colonial Stock Transfer is offering a wide range of stock transfer agent services. These include shareholder services such as online proxy voting, stock transfers, lost stock certificate replacements, and issuer services such as mailing and printing, annual shareholder meeting and proxy, EDGAR and XBRL filing, stock option tracking, and dividend paying services.
In early 2011, Colonial Stock Transfer launched its XBRL filing services. The primary aim of the launch was to help companies exchange and disseminate corporate reporting information according to the SEC mandate. The launch of the new product has helped companies effectively meet their XBRL filing requirements with the assurance of professional quality and accuracy.
According to the SEC XBRL mandate, periodic and transition reports on Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 20-F, 40-F, restatements, Securities Act registration statements, and forms 8-K or 6-K containing revised financial statements must be filed in XBRL. Colonial Stock Transfer Company introduced the new XBRL filing service with a mission to assist reporting companies in meeting all of these filing requirements. The service is designed to help companies from project beginning to end in taxonomy creation, review, and file submission.
About Colonial Stock Transfer Company: For the past 25 years, the company has provided quality stock transfer services for both U.S. and internationally-based private and public companies, including those listed on “over-the-counter” and major stock exchanges.
